Has anyone read it? I'm glad they changed it because they really pussified the Borg and made the Federation far too powerful. I didn't enjoy the Earth-side story either.

I know from the commentary that it was originally set in Midievil(sp?) times but Patrick Stewart stepped in and put a stop to it (RM and BB said it was because he didn't want to wear tights again
). And that Lily and Picard would have been much more involved. Blech. I love the Lily/Picard relationship as it ended up. One of the best in all of Star Trek in my opinion.
