    Ragnarök & The Jinn

Hey, thought to make a thread on possibilities, not sure if this isn't a repeat though. Anyway...

O.K Ragnarök, the Norse belief of the apocolypse.

As we know, the Asgard are based of Norse Beliefs, with Asgard being the residing place of the Gods.

Basically, Loki (the Mini-Jack ep) will lead an armada of various monsters, such as the Fire Giants & Jotuns against the Gods (Thor, Odin, etc). A War will break out (the Æsir) & it will bring about the destruction of the Universe, it will all be anhiliated.

Now, the thing about the Æsir is that the gods know it will occur, who will be slain, what will happen etc but they're powerless to prevent it (it's like entropy, inadvertable but known about). So they fight up to it anyway, because there's no alternitive.

Now, the replicators were slightly like this, but I believe something greater is on it's way, something else that the Asgard have hiding & need help with, seeing as Thor's busy & there's not been a lot of Asgard activity lately (appart from the regular Hermoid & Kvasiar). Anyone got any thoughts?

Also, on another note, I've thought about the Furlings on another Thread, briefly, & hypothesised that they could be the Islamic Jinn, other dimension beings with advanced powers that reside on Earth. The Ascended Ancients are akin to Angels, so the Furlings could be akin to Jinn. This could tie in with the episode Sight Unseen, with the Ancient Alt Dimension Tech, maybe, on the right frequency, it could be used to contact the Furlings (Jinn) on Earth, SGC just ahd it on the wrong frequency & they saw Alt Bugs? it would be an interresting Idea, tying back to S6 with Jonas, could possibly Finish his arc of completly. Thoughts?

So, Ragnarök & the Jinn, thoughts?

If the Furlings were other dimension beings then why would they construct structures like the Archway, and that Moon-Utopia place in this dimension? It's also been established that the Furlings are Mayan/Aztec, whereas the Asgard are Scandinavian, the Goa'uld are primarily Egyptian, the Nox are animists/shamanist/naturalists, and that the Alterans (Ori & Ancients) are a mix of Chinese (Kheb, Ori warrior) & Roman (precursor to Latin language).

The Furlings were also part of the Ancient Alliance. An alliance between the most powerful races in the galaxy of this dimension.

As for the Ragnarök, it could be their cloning problem.

Aesir is the Norse Pantheon and Ragnarök is the Norse Armageddon >_>'.

Nothing has been established about the Furlings except for a part of their written language (The Torment of Tantalus). Whatever you've read and whatever the Omnipedia says, it's mostly if not all speculation made by fans.

Where's this proof that speaks for the fact that the Furlings are Mayan/Aztec?

Ancients were originally said to have influenced the Romans with one member of the Lantean council having a Roman myth name and the Ascended beings were said to be more Buddhist. Now in the latest season it seems to include Arthurian as well.

Goa'uld were primarily Egyptian but included Greek, Hindu, Mayan and a couple more.

The Tok'ra had only one person based on myth and that was their queen whose name was from Roman myth.

Nox i would describe as almost elvish though not much can be said on what mythology they drew upon beyond peaceful forest dwellers who love nature.
