Anyone know any books related to the sangrail being a bloodstone and not the holy grail? I thought that was an interesting tidbit. I read the Arthurian legends with Lancelot, Guinevere, Arthur, Merlin, Gawain, Galahad etc but never heard that particular story before.

This quote from one of the readers is notable for parallel plotlines too: "Bloodstone is a chronicle of the Jerusalem Man, Jon Shannow, in his final (I hope not) challenge to face the power of the Sipstrassi stones. These bloodstones pull the life force out of people for use by others, a literary parallel rather like the real victimization due to violent crime in America today."
It's not quite in the original vein of the Arthurian tales tho. Daniel mentions Middle Eastern chroniclers of Arthur and his knights............
