    Security Office - Level 3

This is the room where all the security cameras feed into monitors. It's always manned by at least one (anonymous) Airman.

Jen entered the room with her jars of dye. "Airman, I need to see the head of security."

He was watching his monitors, not sure whether or not to send someone to the general's office. ((I'll leave that to Blue.))

    "He's around."

Colonel Marshall entered the room at that point. "What's going on, Airman?"

"Some commotion in the General's office, sir."

"Watch it closely. What do you need? Lieutenant Colonel Marshall, I don't believe we've met."

Jen placed the jars on a desk, stood at attention and saluted. "Major Jen Stevens, SG-5, sir."

The airman glanced at the officers. "It's cooled down, sir."

"Good, good." Marshall returned the salute. "At ease, Major. What are you looking for?"

"I have a present to give to Jaime Taylor, I need to place it in her quarters anonymously, sir. I was told to see you."

Marshall picked up the blue jar and examined with eyes of the same color. "These it, Major?" Jen nodded. He unscrewed the lid of the Mason jar.

Jen raised her hand. "Careful, sir. It's liquid. A dye I made from local plants."

Marshall examined the dark blue liquid carefully, wafting it to smell for home-brewed alcohol. It didn't seem malicious, wasn't alcoholic. And if it was, he had a clear look at her face and a name. "Doesn't seem like anything rule-breaking. I'll escort you down, make sure everything's above board." Marshall screwed the lid back on the jar.

"Yes, sir. Thank you, sir." Jen started picking up her jars and saw Colonel Marshall pick up the green to join the blue.

"I'll help you, Major. Man the cameras, Airman. I'll be back." They both left, Marshall checking to make sure he had his card.

    ((Both to Quarters))
((I hope controlling him isn't a problem, but I need the head man.))

Lt. Col. Danny Marshall returned to the security hub. The airman looked from his screens. "Colonel, you used the 'back of my hand, that's new' routine. You're lucky she didn't groan out loud, sir."

      "She thought it was funny."

"You're a rank above her, she was being polite."

      He snorted indignantly.

Kate walked hurriedly into the Security Office and looked around her. She spotted the SF sat in front of the cameras, glued to the screens. "Afternoon, Airman."

The SF snapped to attention. "Ma'am?"

Kate nodded and sat on a desk, swinging her legs slightly. "I take it you're enjoying the show? Judging by the camera angles, you must have got a pretty nice view of our favourite Cadet." She raised her eyebrows as the SF turned a deep shade of red. Thought as much. "Although, I heard that a couple of the tapes had, errrrrr.... gone fuzzy? You know? Worn from over use?"

          "Ma'am?"

Kate sighed gently. "What would it take for that video to mysteriously go missing or get taped over? We have to tape over things, right? We don't have a limitless supply of tapes." She watched as the SF removed a finished tape from one machine. "A bottle of wine if you swap them over?"

The SF raised an eyebrow at her. "Are you trying to bribe me, Ma'am?"

"I'm trying to protect my team members, who just... let things get out of hand," Kate replied quietly. "They're good kids. Both of them. I'll see to their punishment. The General is already furious at them. I'm trusting you to make the right decision on this one, Airman."

She frowned and bit her lip, then headed out of the security office and back to the lounge to wait for the officers to return.

          >>>to lounge.

Charles walked into the security office. It was a place he well remembered having spent most of his time working out of this place. He walked by an airman who was looking at the security camera’s for the whole base. Since Charles wasn’t an unknown person to the airman, the airman didn’t even think twice about stopping Charles.

Charles walked up the chief of security’s office, and tapped on the door with his knuckles. It didn’t take long for an answer, “Come in,” Said the voice of Lieutenant Colonel Marshall.

Charles walked into to the office to find Marshall sitting at his desk looking over some reports. Charles cleared his throat, and the colonel looked up at him. A smile went across the colonel’s face as he realized who had stepped into his office. “Captain Charles York. It has been a while,” Said Marshall as he came out, and shook Charles’ hand.

“Indeed it has been sir,” Said Charles as he sat in the chair in front of the Colonel’s desk, and waited for the colonel to take a seat behind the desk.

“So, tell me what have you been up to?” Asked Marshall as he sat down in his chair, and leaned back looking at Charles.

“Not much at all,” Started Charles “My CO is in the brig, and has a goa’uld in him. The only way we are going to save looks to be through the team that has more problems that the people on As the world turns.”

Marshall laughed at the last comment, and then started to speak. “So, I am going to assume you are talking about SG-7.”

“Is there any other?” Asked Charles with a grin.

“But, I highly doubt you are here to talk about SG-7,” Said Marshall knowlegably.

“You’re right of course,” Started Charles as he thought up what to say. He had run this a thousand times in his head, and he was finally ready to talk to someone about it. “I had a flash back. Well two flashbacks.” Charles said as the Colonel leaned forward, and looked at Charles with concern. “You are basically the only other person on this base who knows what I would be having a flashback of,” Continued Charles who was referring to the fact that Marshall had been on one of the marine teams sent to rescue him after his helo crashed.

“I know what you would be having flashbacks off, and I wouldn’t have recommended that you had come to this base if I didn’t know that you could handle it,” Started Marshall, “But Chuck, I really think you ought to see someone about this”

“Like who?” Asked Charles even though he knew the answer.

“Doctor Lancaster,” Said Marshall. “Now, I recommend you go there as soon as possible. I mean you have to get this over with and get it over with soon.” Finished Marshall with deep concern, and force in his voice.

“I will do it for you Dan,” Said Charles.

“No, you were going to go anyways you just wanted to make sure you were making the right choice,” Said Marshall.

“Your probably right,” Said Charles with a snort, and he got up to leave.

“You damn well, know I am right,” Said Marshall with a smile, and with that Charles headed to Doctor Lancaster’s office.

              <<Doctor Lancaster’s office>>

                >> General Blue's Office

Rowena marched in grumpily and stood in front of the on-duty SF tapping her foot. For a minute or two she received no response, so she coughed loudly. The guard continued to ignore her, much to her annoyance.

"Are you purposefully being rude?" she snapped angrily.

The guard looked up, a smile on his face. "No more than you are."

Rowena seethed as she glared at him through narrow eyes. It was not his place to make comments like that, and besides, she was on an SG team. She deserved far more respect than that. He had known damn well the minute she had walked in and he was just trying to get her all worked up...

"Well, are you just going to stand there all day? I'm sure an important SG team member like yourself has better things to do than glare at a lowly Airman," the guard replied sarcastically, as if reading her thoughts.

Rowena felt the anger surge. "I was ju..."

                "Over there."

The guard pointed to a desk where a video tape lay, and Rowena walked over to it, picked up the tape without casting a second glance, missing the label entirely, and walked out of the office, trying to calm herself.

                >>>to General's office.

(Holy moly, this bugger was on page 3. *dusts it off*)

Sharp swiped his card and opened up the security office.
Danny Marshall turned his head, then quickly stood up as he saw who it was.
"How ya doin Danny?" Sharp said walking over.
"Good sir, what brings you to my little cave?" he said, smiling.
Sharp started to peer at the screens as he spoke. "Thought I'd find Blue the easy way....any idea where he is?"
"Well he's just," Danny was about to tell the Colonel that he was obviously in the infirmary getting Janus put back in, but the sudden realization that Sharp didn't know kicked him in the head. "Uhh, um, hmmm." He turned his head to the screens. "Well, I dont know."
Sharp shrugged, not noticing what Danny was hiding. "Ok, well you look on those and I'll look on these." Sharp said, splitting the screens.
After a few minutes of looking, and a few minutes of Danny faking it, Sharp stood back. "Anything?"
                    "Nope."
"Hmmm. Hey, whats that bit in the infirmary, looks like something is in the alien lab...see those two airman kinda guarding it?"
Danny cringed. "I have no idea..Hey, why don't you just go get a bite in the mess hall, you look hungry, I bet Blue will find you."Sharp shook his head. "Nah, I want to go check out this alien." He snapped his fingers. "I bet thats where Blue is!" Sharp said. If there was an alien on base, the general would obviously be observing it, or talking to it.

                    *Infirmary*

                        -From General Blue's Office-

Vincent gently knocked on the Base Security Office's door,

"Come in," the response came from inside, Vincent pushed the door open, and walked inside, Marshall looked up from his screens, "Lieutenant, what can I do for you?"

"I haven't been assigned quarters yet, and neither General Blue or his aide are around. Colonel Harvey thought you might be able to help,"

"Uhh... gimme a sec," he looked through the cardkeys he had, "Lt. Valentine?"

"Yeah that's me," Marshall grinned and handed him a card,

"Everything's on the card, any luggage you have is probably already there,"
Vincent turned of the card over, printed on it were his name, and a room number; 38, "It's on level 7, should save you a little grief,"

                        "Thank you Colonel..."

"Marshall, Danny Marshall. Now go get some sleep Lt., look like you're in need of it,"
Vincent could only managed a tired, half-smile,

"Yes sir," he turned away, leaving the Lt. Colonel slightly surprised, for there was no jest in his voice.

Lance stepped out the elevator on sub level 3, not not knowing where he was to go, he looked right, only to find it as a dead end. Musing, he looked left, to which he found the hallway curving right.

Lazily he swing his body left and headed down the hallway, his eyes caught the closed door, Ah the briefing room, he made a mental note to remember where it was.

Turning left, he saw three doors to his left, reading the engraving on the closest one, he made face then walked on the second door had no indication as to what it was used for. Finally getting to he last one, he grinned. So this is where security office is.

Giving a light knock on the door, he heard a muffled, "Come in" from inside.

Stepping inside he saw a man in his late 30's, seeing the rank, Lance stood a bit straight, "Come looking for assigned Quarters, sir" he gave Marshall a friendly smile, "Major Lance McKinnon."

Marshall gave Lance a studied look then nodded, "You got transfered from Beta right?" the Colonel asked as he picked up his coffee mug and took a long sip. Having two Lances running around Alpha was going to interesting, but he was grateful that there ranks were different.

Lance nodded, "Yes sir. Just before SG1 and 3 went to their mission," shifting his weight a bit, as the sleep drawn on him again.

Marshall nodded, catching the fact the man needed sleep, "Sit," he indicated to the chair and pulled his own then sat down. "This won't take long."

Taking the seat Lance watched the colonel fiddle on the computer. Suppressing the long deep yawn that was on his lips, Lance shook the sleep away.

"Found you" Marshal grinned at McKinnon as he proceeded to get all the info into the key card, then handed it to Lance, "Sublevel 6, room 24," he told him, "it's not far from the elevators, turn left, first door to well, left."

Lance nodded as the took the card and got to his feet, "Thank you sir" he told Marshall, then walked out.

Kim knocked on Marshall's office door, hearing a come in out the deep accent, she turned knob and entered. She hoped that Marshall would buy into her story which was in every angle true.

Marshall looked up to see Ashwood walk over to his desk, "Major, what can I do for you?" he asked as he motioned to the chair.

Taking a seat, Kim looked the Colonel, "Well, sir. I'm here to find out where McKinnion's quarters are." She spoke in profile and professionally. Seeing Marshall raise an eyebrow at her she continued, "Major McKnnion had joined SG-1 and 3 on the mission to the Alter reality. Since the de-briefing is due soon and his presences are required there, someone is going to have wake him up."

Marshall sighed and leaned back as Kim was speaking, while he new she was right, but he had to wonder why she was so willing to wake the man up. Making sure his face gave away nothing of he had been thinking Danny leaned over his desk, "Sub level 6 Room 24." while he was in no place to give it away, but he noted that someone would have had to wake McKinnon up for the de-briefing using the base wide intercomm would also be embarrassing, besides she would have found sooner or later where Mckinnon room was.

Knowing Marshall could have caught on something, Kim gave him small sharp nod and got her feet, "Thank you sir."

Marshall nodded and watched her leave.
