    Do you find it strange that...

    This is thread where you posts things you find strange about SG, can only think of one at the minute.

    It's a simple matter of time. The show is only an hour long. Would you rather them spend 3/4 of that time having Daniel learn how to communicate, leaving only 1/4 for actual plot.

        Im pretty sure that one of the big wigs explained that the reason they all speak English is due to a time issue in other words I agree with RiderMayBail

        I do find it strange that with all his power and allegedly knowledge of the Ancients he allowed his ego to cloud his judgement, not that I am complaining that the evil incarnate is not on our plain of existence

            Dont you think its strange that no one has set a water slide up in front of the stargate, think about it, you go flying off the end, through the event horizon and end up in the sea on another planet, just as long as the gate doesnt de-activate just before you get there, could be painful.

                  I find it strange that (except for Wormhole Xtreme which was an alien dude) know one in the world had decided to invent a "Stargate" show. Star wars and Star trek have been, why not Stargate!! lol

                      If you look closely, the Atlantean 'gate is not completely round - it's base is cut to make way for the floor - funny thing is, the kawoosh never desintigrates the ground, but it should.

                          I think there was something about the alloy the iris was made of which made it immune to the desintigrating effect.
