Well, I had a bit of fun with a friend who believes (justifiably for the most part) that model/actress = anorexic moron, but he's with me that Tricia Helfer should be up for an Emmy after her work this season. Being the mean bugger I am, I bet him $20 that she used to be a Victoria's Secret model. Easiest money I've ever made...

She's also rather funny and smart in interviews. She's doing a Tyra Banks, and producing/hosting the Canadian version of America's Next Top Model. In one interview, she was asked how she'd handly any *ahem* diva-ish behaviour. She replied, "I'll just show them some of my scenes from Galactica'. Um, yes... there's definitely some 'don't frack with me' moments there.
