This episode was between good and fair mostly because I don't understand why the ancients would be interested in attracting interdimentional bugs--it makes no sense to me. The effects were cool though.

I like how Jack was with Vernon, he doesn't really think that he is above other people in lesser circumstances, and I truly like that about him.

Sam and Jonas had some good moments, and I am glad that she apologized to him, and told him that he is rule part of the team. It was cute when Sam pretended that she and Jonas were a couple.

I also like when Teal'c first saw the bugs.

A fun Earth-based episode for the most part, with interdimensional bugs which look really cool. I'm especially fond of the blue and yellow centipedes. Sure, they are a bit scary for showing up out of nowhere but they looked awesome.

There are some fun little moments in this episode that make it truly worthwhile watching. Plenty of good character interactions, and love the "You're part of the team", even if Jack didn't extend a fishing-invitation, but according to Teal'c that's just being extremely lucky.

It's just fun entertainment and I love it.

Now this FH is a a filler. This couldn't be a truer example of a fair episode. Im very indifferent towards it. It has its moments like the device mystery and Jack shooting a sign but It's not an episode i find entertaining. Also the device doesn't look Ancient
