there would die like we would in your world

the stargate universe is exactly like your our world just with a twist

alsoit would depend on the heaven and hell part if the person who pases believes in that stuff or a higher power

          What does normal mean anyway?
Those who live with no fear inevitably lead boring lives, for fear is the element within our hearts that breathes excitement into our souls.

That kind of thing isn't really addressed in the show, it's up for personal interpretation.

it depends on if they ascend or not.

I don't think Ascension is a substitute for the afterlife, often ascension doesn't have to occur at death, it is merely a convenient point for it to occur. In that SGA episode where there were a mass of Ancients who wnated to ascend, they didn't have to die... it's merely living on a higher plane. It is entirely possibly for a normal afterlife to remain.

Yeah, I agree with Flying Officer Bennett up there. They've left the afterlife open to personal interpretation. Ascension isn't the afterlife, although it might be a nice substitution?

My own personal opinion is that you're done... which makes Ascension sound pretty cool. But who knows.

I think the show left the question open because they would rather you fall back on your own belief.

I do think ascended don't die, so it might be a substitute for afterlife in that sense.

Yeah, ditto. Ascension is merely a way to escape death. The afterlife (if you believe in one) is after death.
