Tennants gonna rule as the 10th doctor. I have a suspicion that he may even give Tom Baker a run for his money and try to become the longest regeneration yet.
Oh Yes the Sam is Back and hes more Sci-fied up than ever !!!!!!!!!

I plead irresponsible youth - I was in my early teens and didn't know any better.

It was superbly loopy though - all that stuff with a dude wearing a stag's head on his bonce and dispensing wisdom while standing in front of a huge spotlight and smoke machine. Add a slightly maniacal/borderline doolally Sheriff of Nottingham and a suitably lunkheaded sidekick, all the requisite stereotype merry men etc. etc.

Mind you, I've caught a few episodes on ITV3 since then, and wondered what on earth I was thinking back when it first aired.
Robin of Sherwood was brilliant - all that Herne the Hunter / Green manstuff was inspired.

Plus who wouldn't love it with Ray Winstone as Will Scarlet?

My favourite, after Dr Who, as a kid was The Tomorrow People. But I also remember a series, maybe only the one, called Sky that came on when Tomorrow People had become Yesterday's People. A boy (alien?) was found nekkid in some woods, and a load of kids looked after him. he had weird eyes.

              Anyone?

I am 100% sure that it isn't a figment of my (admittedly vivid) imagination.

^ not your imagination MC, there's a little clip of the intro here (scroll down the page for it) I'd completely forgot about this show, but I remember the creepy music.

                *edit* MC... THANK YOU

Thanks to your post about "Sky" I've found the most amazing site. I was looking for more info about the show and came across this place.

The chap there is doing dvd's of Dennis Potters 'Lipstick on Your Collar'...I'd given up on ever owning this brilliant drama (no way will I pay £30+ for a VHS)
I am so chuffed I could burst.

OMG I've just noticed he's doing "The Last Train" as well....

Ohhh the Gruesomes would love the Tomorrow People - for Christmas.

And thank goodness Egeria (you're welcome, btw) found that Sky thing for me. I'd love to see it again.

I loved Robin of Sherwood with both Michael Praed and Jason Connery

I definatly fancied Ray Winstone as Will Scarlett
