Is it just me or does anyone else think that the Ori Warriors will be like Jolenek or whatever that guy's name is who went CRAZY? You know, armed with staff weapons, given a re-animation treatment ala Kull Warriors while still alive and then you have this crazed or demon-possessed looking warrior.

I think this is why the Ori Warriors will be tough to beat. They're just like the Kulls but without the advanced armor and despite that... they are still tough to kill. Im thinking we'll be seeing Elite soldiers of the Ori wearing something similar to the Kulls.

Think Khalek + white Ori version of the Kull Armor.

I've seen pics of the regular Ori Warriors. They seem to be armored like the Vikings, but with Ori-staff-weapons or as I like to call them STAVES that probably shoot lightning bolts or something.

It's called flamethrowers. And cmon, the writers must have though of this. The Ori bugs and the Ori Warriors (zombie) could fall to flamethrowers. And wouldn't it be fitting? All this stuff with the Ori and fire (they seem to love their fireworks), and then Mitchel telling jokes about bar-b-ques... I mean, that would be just too easy to pass up.

    Examples:

    Major coolness....

Right... we burn them to a crisp then the Prior slams his staff to the ground, the orb glows and next thing you know the Ori Warriors will be whole once again.. just like how Vala was "resurrected" in Avalon. Oh and once they're on their feet they'll continue the attack.

Tell me you didn't forget about the first episode of Season 9??? I think that show established the fact that Ori is hard to beat. They can bring people burnt to death, back to life!

Ok, fine. We set up a giant transmitter with that thing that blocks their powers, then we fire up our flamers!

That CancerMan-Prior was able to overcome that piece of technology.... Im sure the other Priors will also do the same.

I think watching their entire army getting beaten would really piss a ori off.

Where did you get these pictures, and are they from a source that is actually connected to the production of the show? Don't get me wrong, they look really cool, but they are merely artist renderings and not actual production photos.

all I can see is Star Wars and the Imperial Army.

BTW the Kull armour reminds me of Darth Vader.
                  School is overrated.

Like I've said before, the Ori are really ascended Sith.

Hey if those pictures really are the warriors then I'm dissapointed. maybe they are maybe they're not but if they are then i would have expected them to look a lot more scariar than that. It's true they look like vikings. I'm guessing that by what the producers have said that the new enemy in season will be Ori related and that maybe in my guess a civilsation falls to and serves the Ori and this civilisation becomes the warriors of the Ori. That sound so cool, you've got to admit. But they have got to, got to, got to, be more powerful than the Jaffa in terms of being a warrior.

The pictures are from magazine scans of a mag called VisiMag. They have preview pics and concept art of yet to be aired shows. They had concept art of the Ori ships and the final versions we see in the Previews are pretty close to the Bedpan looking ships in the concept art. Look into the Season 9 forum for pics of the Ori ships.

I think the final version Ori Warriors will probably look a little better than these... Zombie/Orc Vikings we see in the concept art pics.

i was hoping they would look more daemonic, linking with the idea of fire and all that. The vikings on earth worshipped the norse gods, ie thor and the other asgard so that does not seem to fit with the earlier episodes
