IMHO I think CW needs all the good series it can get, Firefly already has it fanbase, it seems logical. I would be madly squeeing if they also continue the Angel universe aka Spike the series (now that David B doing Bones)

Two days ago Joss said the phones aren't ringing, so as much as I want it to be true I disregard it.....but you never know. He wouldn't have said that unless it was true- and if there were developments he would have kept quiet until such time as he would be allowed to divulge and wouldn't have mentioned anything in the first place, or said something cryptic.....

I'd definitely take it with a pinch of salt until Joss Whedon or any of the cast make an announcement. Rumours seem to run rife where Firefly is concerned.

I've heard the CW is considering bringing it back as a series, miniseries or movie for next season. Hurrah! For you who missed my message board posting, on Tuesday, Nate Fillion, Summer Glau and Gina Torres were seen coming out of one of the exec buildings at Paramount, where they are putting together the new CW unit.

Who knows if it's true but it's sure fun to speculate.
