I'd forgotten just how much I love this show until I picked up the DVDs for seasons 1 & 2. Dr Cox is awesome, but I've got a real soft spot for the Janitor - the scary thing is, some of his lines (and especially his delivery of them) made me realise that he's what my buddy Dave will be like in a few years LMAO. *hugs Dave*

Agreed - his character was fantastic, especially the way he bought out sides of Dr Cox' and Jordan's characters that we'd never really seen before. The episode when he dies, in season 3, stands out as one of my favorites - it had me going the whole way through, and when they revealed he was actually dead it just gutted me. This show has the most perfect balance of humour and pathos I've seen since MASH - you'll be falling off your chair laughing, and then they'll have you in tears, in the space of one scene.

    Scrubs is my ER.

Love the show. It has that quality to it that is missing now-a-days. You know, when you watch a comedy and then at the end it has a life leason for the kiddies watching and toughing moments for us. Like the one with Michael J. Fox on it. Good lesson for the kids and at the same time it meant so much to me to see Michael J. Fox acting again. Lets me know he is still hangin' in there.

Oh, I love Scrubs! I finally bought the second season.I never had a chance to watch it on tv, so I'm getting the DVDs as they come out. And I basically made my entire family watch it. Can I just say, that stuffed dog that they like to move around to scare Elliot is one of the funniest things I've ever seen?

That's funny. He is a bad dog when he isn't just standing around.

Unfortunately the writers and producers said in an interview before the start of the season that its not gonna happen. They said that they are done with that and JD and Elliot are just friends, nothing more, for good.

    Scrubs...

As a Nursing student.... I find them to be Nurses on laughing gas. BTW, if they are nurses? Where's the nursing work? I know its a comedy show, but at least I've seen some actual work done in other sitcoms. Everything from flipping burgers to sitting at a computer and typing reports.

A Question for the fans lucky enough to be watching Season 5 atm.

I've gone onto the NBC Scrubs site, and they have this image below:

Just wondering who the character is - so I check the actress out on IMDB once I know the characters name.

    Many Thanks in advance

Wow, she's pretty. I'm guessing she's gonna be a guest star in a future episode (probably the ep after next) since there are no new guest stars listed in the thingy on the site for the next episode, but the other photos show her with JD, Elliot and Keith.

They are Doctors, not nurses. If I wanted to watch them do doctor stuff I would watch ER. They get into their work though. Like the old lady dying.

Most of the time they are fantisising anyways.

Yeah but only for about 10 seconds. I thought she'd be a recurring character or something.

Indeed - I only posted about the character appearing after I first saw her in the first 5 minutes and now I'm disapointed she might not be appearing in any later episodes.

    Next Week's episode details

    MY LUNCH 9/8pm 04/25/06

J.D. IS DETERMINED TO HAVE LUNCH WITH DR. COX

While working to stabilize three patients awaiting organ transplants, J.D. resolves to ask Dr. Cox to lunch until he agrees. When he finally chases Dr. Cox to lunch, J.D. runs into annoying former patient Jill Tracy, who unexpectedly teaches him something about responsibility. Later, Elliot and Carla discover that Todd's been lying about all his hospital "conquests" and suspect that he's been less than truthful about other issues, but Turk warns them not to meddle.
