Sorry for being gone, life got a bit hectic. (The heatalator in the band room burst a pipe last weekend and flooded the whole room, when I got there there was an inch and a half of water over the whole room, and it was starting to seep under the door to my music tech lab. Fortunately, the drum set carpet absorbed most of the water so I think my gear will be ok, but they are going to have to gut the band room as it just reeks of mold now.). My choir room was, thankfully, unscathed.

I couldn't agree more. It's lame now and over commercialised mumbo bumbo.

It's the only day of the year I don't look forward to, cos it's depressing haha!

Region chorus went well - it was easily the best choral concert I've had the pleasure of attending. I was backstage behind the shell during Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" so I could hear any overtones and it was exquisite. I had one student advance to All-States, plus an alternate, so I was thrilled.
