    Someone wanted spoilers?

    Check out these cool pix:

    Spoiler:
A new Cylon model will make an appearance in the two-part season finale, "Lay Down Your Burdens." His name is Brother Cavel, and he is played by noted actor and sci-fi veteran, Dean Stockwell. One of Dean's most memorable roles is Al - the hologram on the critically acclaimed Quantum Leap series. It is speculated that Cavil will be a member of the Cylon religious order, hence the designation Brother.

Also of interest is which Cylon(s) will be extending the hand of peace to the Galacticans. Although it has been reported that Leoben will be the envoy, new information indicates that Number Six and Boomer will be the goodwill Cylons.

Other Galactica spoilers have just been revealed. As HNR reported earlier, another noted actor will definitely be making a guest appearance in an upcoming episode: none other than Dana Delaney (from China Beach). The role she will play is Sesha, a terrorist, on the episode "Sacrifice." And for a time Vice-President Gaius Baltar will reach an even higher rank: that of President. This does not mean that Laura Roslin will die; quite the contrary. However, as she recovers from her illness, Baltar will assume that lofty post and become the political leader of the Galacticans - for better or worse.

so one battlestar can stand toe to toe with a basestar? yet, Adama seemed reluctant to engage the basestar over Kobol last season.

          some more:

          Spoiler:
When Starbuck meets with Anders, she lets her guard down and things get hairy. Someone mentioned the possibility of Anders being a Cylon...?

Question: Is Battlestar Galactica going to kill off Mary McDonnell? Her character has breast cancer, after all. I love her and don't want her to go! — Christine

Ausiello: You and me both. I can't imagine they'd kill her off just as things are about to (SPOILER ALERT) heat up romantically between Madame President and Commander Adama. You'll see what I mean in the closing minutes of the Jan. 13 episode, which, it's worth noting, is one of the most perfect hours of television I've ever seen. In addition to the goose-bumply Adama-Roslin moment, there's a scene between Michelle Forbes' Admiral Cain and Katee Sackhoff's Starbuck that will blow your frakkin' mind. This Friday's episode is no slouch either, BTW. People, if you haven't boarded Galactica yet, take it from a recent convert: Get off your frakkin' butts, get a hold of the DVDs and catch up, ASAP. Trust. Me.
