Has anyone seen the early remake?

The man who played the original Apollo, made a short remake film. Instead of the robotic cylons, they had Lizards which the original series planned to have. Has anyone seen it? Do you think it would've been better having Lizards rather than Robots?

I have never actually seen the 4 minute trailer Hatch produced, but I have seen plenty of screen shots from it. Cheesy is the word that comes to mind.

BattlestarGalactica.com has a good deal of information about Hatch's project. It's here: The Second Coming

Wasn't it made in the late 90's, its a reflection of the time. Those we the declining star trek years, so lizard men weren't a far leap from other sci-fi shows that were out at the time. Even "sliders" had aliens and that was definatley not a part of the shows purpose.

Good point, in the original series, robot cylons were creations of the bad guys, which was a race of lizardmen.
            ...but now I know
That twenty centuries of stony sleep
Were vexed to nightmare by a rocking cradle,
And what rough beast, its hour come 'round at last,
Slouches toward Bethlehem to be born?
