Asguard and the Ancients

Do the Asguard know that the Ancients ascended? Or do they just know that the Ancients moved on from that sector of space when a plague came through (my guess is that that is when they went to Atlantis)?

Also, when did the Goa'uld arrive on Earth first? And when were they expelled?

Lets see, well there has been no confirmation that I can remember of Asgard knowing of the Ancients fate.

The Goa'uld arived (i think) 8000 BC and check out Moebius for when they left
