Have you ever noticed that none of the races in stargate have ground artillary. The jaffa only have gliders and alkesh but no jaffa tanks and we could fit at least light artillary through the gate. I think we would have won a lot more battles against the goa'uld if we had some heviyer wepons on our side. And none of our enemys ever seem to have any either.

I think airplanes are much more effective in conquering planets, since tanks are hard to move by ship or by gate.

So they just use ships to clear the area and infantry to secure it.

I always thought we could use a Bradley though..

Yes but ships arnt as acurate, have you ever seen a death glider or alkesh actually hit someone.

The trick would be figuring out how to get a tank into the SGC for it to go through the gate. Sure, you can lower it by the crane and retractable roof, but what are you going to do with it after that? Park it and let it take up half the gateroom?

Sorry but i havent seen that episdoe yet . there are some eps in serise's 6 and 7 that i havent seen yet and "Momento" is one of them.
Though thats only one veichle. Youd think they could come up with some thing a little more threatining than an apc, maby attach some staff cannons and a sheild , then youv got one suped up tank.
