Fanfic Recommendations

Hey

On my website I have some FF Recommendations....they're mostly Sam & Jack and there's usually lots of Angst but with a happy end of course! There're also a couple of Humor Fics in there I loved ...I put short comments in there as well what I thought about the fic.... in case anyone is interested or bored.

I should probably start a new thread for this, but I was feeling lazy :-). So many people seem to be recommending Alli Snow's fiction, especially Sleepers, but I can't seem to find it (the site linked by everyone has been down for months). Does anyone have a copy by any chance?

I love OzKaren's stuff. I don't know if any of it is archived at Gateworld (obviously an error that needs to be corrected!), but I first came across it at Stargatefan (http://69.13.69.143/ficauthor/OzKaren.shtml) and I've seen them at the Heliopolis. The Medical Considerations are possibly the best fics I've read--and trust me, I read a lot. They tell the aftermath of a few episodes from Janet's point of view. I finished them about two hours before they killed Janet off in Heroes Part II. Sucky timing, but awesome fics. Seriously. She has a wicked sense of humor. In my opinion, the best is number two; it's basically an extended missing scene from Solitudes.

Adding on to what I just said...I found "Go and Catch a Falling Star" by Doc at the Heliopolis and it rocks. REALLY long, but more than worth it. If there was any fic that deserved to be made into an episode (or rather, movie, given the length), this would be it (when you find yourself wondering if they'd let you direct it, you KNOW you've found a winner). It's a xover story of Starwars and SG1 and it works really well. It's not finished yet but there's a fair bit posted already, more than enough to get you hooked.

For this Fic Sally Reeve obtained the Ship Award 2004 for Best Story, Best Novel, Best UST and Best Pairing-Focussed Story Sam/Jack.

I enjoy LE McMurray's fics. She mostly writes Daniel angst, Daniel/Sha're romance, angst, AU stories. They're here on Gateworld.
