Someone close to Clark is going to die, more than likely it will be his father. But, there is supposed to be more than one major death, in the episode "Reckoning," and I wonder if it will be Lionel, for if Clark's destiny is to be forged by this occurrence, shouldn't an equal and opposite destiny be forged for Lex, killing his father would be the logical choice. Lionel killed his parents, Jor-El's father probably died before his mother, teaching him the pain of loss, and providing strength in return for that loss. It just makes sense that a sacrifice/murder is most likely to occur.
