Was wondering if there is any facility within Gateworld that deals with the language of the Jaffa and Goa'uld? Any help greatly appreciated.

I think there was some talk about GateWorld having some kind of Goa'uld words and phrases. Not sure, though. Can't get on GW...
I know Wikipedia has some. Here's the link:

Here are a few links to (unofficial) Goa'uld dictionaries:

You can also find the Ancient writing system at a wonderful website called Omniglot, they have like every language ever invented (real or fictional):
Omniglot
A dictionary of known Ancient words/phrases (scroll past the Lego nonsense)

Hope that helps any fellow Stargate linguists!

Nice links, thanks! I've been fascinated by language for a long time. I searched for Scots language on the Omniglot site. I was suprised how different I speak Scots compared to the sample paragraph. I couldn't pronounce some words on the first pass. Very interesting."Captain, you almost make me believe in luck."

hey thats actually a pretty good site, will spend some time looking up some real languages at some point, im a geek like thatEquality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

I've also seen goa'uld dictionaries on www.scifigate.net (of course that site seems to be down more than it's up) and www.chevron26.comMy Depth Is Immaterial To This Conversation...
