What constitutes a spoiler? Has the been a predetermined length of time an episode has the have been on the air before someone can not put the spoiler code on it?

As for Stargate, the forum rules clearly spell out what does and doesn't need spoiler protection. If it's the current or future season on cable or syndication, it needs spoiler warnings.
Right now, that's SG-1 Seasons 8 and 9, and Atlantis 1 and 2.
Other shows, it's the entire season that is currently airing. And when you pop into episode-specific threads, please include spoiler warnings if you chat up important plot points that come later than that episode (especially for serialized shows like Lost).GateWorld Podcast - Info - iTunes - Google
