    Advice for the Day

My Advice for the Day is...

Avoid getting Pneumonia... it really sucks.

Sorry, I'm just now starting to get rid of Pneumonia myself, so it is sort of relevant to me, personally. It does really suck, though. You hurt, it is difficult to breathe or get any rest. Fortunately, I'm starting to get over it. Unfortunately, not until after having incurred a few expenses. About $40 for 4, (yes, count them... FOUR ) little pills, not to mention whatever I'm going to be getting charged by the ER at the hospital, because I don't have insurance. Ugh..! Too bad Insurance is so expensive on my pay, or I'd definitely get it. Well, hopefully I'll get that interview for that other job, and I'll have med insurance. Wouldn't that be nice? Anywho...

My second advice of the day is...

If you jump out of an airplane while in the air, either wear a parachute, or flap your arm really fast and pray that you don't die, or that if you should survive when you hit the ground, you won't end up wanting to die.
The success or failure of your deeds, does not add up to the sum of your life. Your spirit cannot be weighed! Judge yourself by the intentions of your actions, and by the strength with which you faced the challenges that have stood in your way. The Universe is so vast, and we are so small, there is only truly one thing we can control; whether we are good or evil... -Oma Desala

        Advice of the Day?

If you see the freight train coming and it's gonna beat you to the crossing, For Cryin' Out Loud, STOP THE STUPID CAR! You know how many people i've seen get killed playing chicken with the freight trains that run by my house every day?

My advice for the day is if you're going to feed a deer a carrot, make sure you hold it with your hand 1) At the very end of the carrot, and 2) with your hand perpendicular to the carrot.

Deer teeth are very sharp. I have a scar to prove it.

My mom got it, and she had to cancel our trip to Paris. Now why didn't you post that advice in February?!

My advice: Don't step off six inch curbs and break your foot....a few years ago, my mom did that, and we had to cancel a similar trip to Paris.

              my advice:

Don't over study for tests, because it will confuse you and you will fall for trick questions!

If I hadn't read about something, I would have gotten it right. Um.. does that make sense?

                    Advice for the day...

Don't put all your eggs in one basket... someone is bound to come by and sit on it. Then what? Like some business mogul might say (which I'm not), "diversify, diversify, diversify..."

...as an afterthought... It kinda sucks that we only have one planet huh?? It sure would be nice if we had a self-sustaining colony somewhere...

Today's advice: Don't put your foot near a horse's foot. It can hurt. A lot.

Well, if you really want to know. I moved down here 5 years ago. Since then, I've seen about 9 people die, and around 15 get seriously injured at the crossing. Sobering statistics, yes. All because no one wants to wait the 5 or so minutes for the train to pass.

Yes, that's my motto as well, It's not always true, but it certainly helps get through the tough times.
