I just watched this episode as part of my mega Stargate rewatch and I was reminded how much i love this episode. I am a big Janet fan (and i do enjoy a bit of whump lol). To see Janet pushed to her limit to protect her daughter is just so awesome to watch. The mother daughter dynamic is just dead on for me. Also, i really like cassie but i feel like i am the minority on that. I am part of a stargate fan page on facebook and i made a post asking if people would want to see more of cassie in a possible new stargate series and almost all of them said no. Anyway, the hand hold between daniel and janet was pretty nice (I am a shipper, i can't help myself lol)

All in all this was a solid episode. Never cross a mom...especially one that can fire a gun. lol

Actually, as a character she would be a perfect fit in a new show. She's the connection with what can before, and she's got a direct line with the members of the old SG-1.

I think Cassie was an interesting character, and I'm rather disappointed that we never found out what became of her in the end.
