Ah! I thought my memory had shut down on FS.Now I know the show you were referring to,all I can say is that I can't remember much about Lexx either,because I only ever saw one ep from maybe S3 and then it turned out the show wasn't renewed after S4 and I've never caught up.


Piqued my curiosity so I've been looking for any Lexx details.
We have at least two Lexx threads here.Look in advanced search and in the tag search box, type in the show name.

Only snag is that pics seem to be gone,blurred out or there are blank spaces.That's probably because Photobucket and other sites went from free to fees-please.

Lexx is a German/US collaboration, it's damn near semi porn!!
There is also a pornstar going by the name of Zev Bellringer, which would not help a friendly PG search for the show.
Again, not exactly GW friendly.
It was an intelligent scifi show, but it's more in the realm of say Tru Blood rather than your average scifi show.
Once more, the vehicle to tell the story is seen as more important than the story itself.

It seems obvious I only saw a more PG-13 ratable episode and clips years ago!

No point closing those threads because there seem to be valid discussions in there,but I won't be googling for the images,(esp hers!).Definitely not GW friendly...and TY for the info.

Tru Blood and even Buffy and Angel could be a bit over the lines on adult stuff or gore,for average kid-friendly viewing at times,but as you say, the intelligent scifi elements and stories were (and still are) the big draw.

So as it said in the forum vision post for 2020 that there will be threads for new members, are there any plans to have some members who would volunteer assigned as "newbie guides"?

What I mean by that is that those people would maybe go to the profiles of new people after they made like 1 or two posts and say welcome to the forum and can be asked by new members about general things around the board and maybe even report trouble they have to mods on their behalf if a new member is too shy to do that on their own?

Hey! What was wrong with the barbecue we had for newbies in Off-Topic? Granted, FH burned them occasionally, but at least we didn't have to worry about getting mad cow or anything else from them, and they got a warm welcome to say the least.
