SGA: David Nykl (Zelenka) in PTERODACTYL

Thought folks might want to know...

David Nykl, who plays Dr. Zelenka in SGA, plays a soldier in the scifi movie PTERODACTYL, which is presently playing. His character is a soldier and since we're fighting giant fighting lizards, well, can we say "red shirt"?

Anyway, the movie repeats later tonight at 1:00 a.m. (Aug 28th) and on
September 1st at 9pm.

The only good reason to watch that movie was to see David Nykl. Other than that the movie sucked!!!

I'm all for David Nykl getting work, he's a great actor, but I'm thinking it might be better to be unemployed. Of course, some people really enjoy the cheese that are the Sci-Fi channel movies.

Just rewatched it. It's still better than most and I like the background (aka trees - it was filmed in the Czech Republik) Otherwise, you sit there and go "Ah, he's next to die!" <G>

Plot? You mean movies on Scifi have plots? that is, beyond, stupid people put themselves in dangerous situation and then get picked off one by one by a CGI giant (snake, spider, prehistoric something??)
