^I kinda figured as much...but it was just one of those things that just popped into my mind while I was watching....(one of those questions that I ask that has my hubby shaking his head at me...)

Soviet Union after the '70s period very friendly with Finland where the former is part of the Russia Empire and deployed there is a lot of orders. In particular for the construction http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIR_ (submersible) . Americans often confuse the European countries so instead of Finland has been named Switzerland.

I liked Deanna Troi and her Russian accent. Oh, and she knows everything we know about the SGC. Way to go Maybourne!! (He's still a donkey's rear - that's what I like about stargate... continuity).

That was a funny ep. I liked Marina Sirtis' cameo a lot.

Apart from stuff mentioned before (like that Russians do have their own good winter uniforms und submarines), it was really embarassing to see plenty of misspelled words all around on the base in Sibiria. The cantine was very authentic, tho

He does and yet they always look at him like he is crazy, but is so great at being clueless sometimes.

I find this episode enjoyable. Marina Sirtis did great with her character.

The first time I watched SG1 all the way through I hated this episode for some reason. This time, while not my favorite, I liked it much more.

I usually don't like the Russian themed episodes, but this one is kinda cool.

Great ep, loved it. And certainly an original premise, with the living water and all. Oh, and it was great to see Maybourne again, he must be my favorite villain so far.

Marina Sirtis was great, I think this is the first time I've seen her as anything other than Deanna Troi. Pretty good accent too.

Just watched this one recently, I completely forgot Marina Sirtis was on SG1! (even with her annoying Russian accent IMO) Its been so long since I last saw this episode. Its always a blast to have Maybounre around, bad guy or not. I loved the comments about the sub from Daniel "But its Swiss!"...we don't get to see him being very funny often!

I saw this episode a while ago. Last time I saw it was like back in August I think. Anyways, their bickering about the sub was funny, but other than that, I didn't like this episode too much. I don't really like most of the Russian episodes, this one included.
