    I downloaded them.

Normally I don't advocate downloading, but it's the only way I have to get the new series. No US station has picked it up or shows signs of doing so, and there are no plans to release region 1 DVDs. If and when region 1 DVDs are released, I'll buy them... until then, I'll download.
I'd start a revolution if I could get up in the morning.

I'm waiting until November to find out if there's a broadcaster announced.

        November was the established deadline.

Failing that, the Region 1 boxset will be released.

Regardless, either I'm recording it or I'm purchasing it.

Okay, probably both. I'm a huge Doctor Who fan.

*sigh* I hate waiting. It's been so long! GIVE US WHO! I'm not sure how much more waiting I can take...it's not fair! Oh cruel and cursed world!

            Ok, I'm calm now...maybe.

Well, tonight is Sci-Fi Friday, so we have two episodes of Atlantis.

Maybe you can also watch some classic eps in the meantime.

I'm a little confused multi-region DVD player/recorders are not available in the US? In Australia they are fairly common, I have two. Oh and my Playstation 2 is multi region.

I was referring to something I saw on Gallifrey One some months back.

They stated if the BBC doesn't get an American broadcaster to pick up the new series by November, they're going to release the Region 1 DVDs.

I just searched the website, but I couldn't find that statement again, so perhaps that's no longer the case. I hope not.

In any event, I found two multi-region DVD players on Amazon.
