What are 5 thinks you would pack in your backpack and why.

-Current book for downtime.
-Journal with pen for recording what I see.
-Picture of family for moral support.
-Camera for taking pictures.
-Calculator for math equations.

- Camcorder, because pictures aren't good enough.
- CD player with CD of Stargate songs.
- "Complete Guide to Astrophysics" by Samantha Carter, for light reading.
- Zat gun... they come in handy.
- Stuffed wolf... he's been everywhere I've been, and I think another planet is far enough away to take him along.

Of course, the vests they wear have everything in them that I would need food-wise, and guns are more use being carried than being stuck in a backpack.

The 5 things in my backpack are:

Camcorder
A tape recorder, I wouldn't have time to write down my thoughts
A translator (If they have one), no patience.
A change of clothes (Underware included), I would stink afterwhile
Another pair of glasses, in case I break mine.

-Quantities of Ammo .41AE and 5.56mm
-Jolt (cause I needs me caff)
