Coquitlam is one of B.C.'s hot spots for movie and television filming, city
officials say.

Riverview is so busy with filming work that its landlord, BC Buildings
Corporation, has a full-time co-ordinator for its holdings. According to a
report, during the 2003/'04 fiscal year , BCBC dealt with an average of five film
or TV shows a month, generating nearly $300,000 in revenue.
BCBC's Brenda Pheaton said 39 productions were filmed at Riverview's Crease
clinic from April 2004 to March 2005. Since April, filming has taken place for
Battlestar Galactica, the L Word and Stargate SG1.

Stargate (both series) are filmed in a variety of locations in, around, near and sometimes not so near Vancouver, BC. The latest issue of the Stargate Magazine had a list of various locations throughout Vancouver that were used for film locations in Sg-1.
