I'm only about 1 16th Yorkshire descent, but does trying to fix a washing machine's hinky noises, because the high pitch is setting off my earaches again Yorkshire-ish enough ?

I'm not from Yorkshire, but I thought I'd take this opportunity to recall a conversation I once over heard between a Brit and an American. I assume the Brit was telling him about British things, anyway I walked in on the conversation just as the American said "so if I go to Yorkshire I gotta get me some of these *slight pause* puddings?"

I wouldn't object! I guess they don't use the area as it's too far from Cardiff.

I think I remember the limestone pavements in the Ingleborough area being used as a location in one of the Harry Potter films.
