Looking forward to seeing everyone at AT10 in April! Feels like the mad rush for tickets JUST happened. I can't believe the year is just flying by...

Sorry you couldn't come. It was a blast as always. They did say they are not going to end the events just change them. There will a new and improved AT event in 2 years. Oh they are shutting down the Sanctuary for Kids Foundation as well apparently December 31st. I think they are coming up with something new there as well. I know they pay for every expense out of their own pockets (Amanda, Damian and Jill) and it might have gotten too expensive. If that is the case then maybe they are just "reorganizing" it so some of the expenses can be carried by the charity. This is however, just a total guess. I have no inside info and no hints were given. Whatever they end up doing you know it will be good.

Laurie, thanks for the update. When Amanda appeared at Phoenix Comicon in 2013, she was asked a question during her panel. The young person asked "what do you want to be remember for? Amanda replied "Sanctuary for Kids".

I hope to be able to attend the revamped AT event in 2020.

Well here's hoping we both can make it. I'll be 73 by then and travel is getting harder each year now!

Not a word. But they said not to expect anything for some time. They first need R&R then .... I not expecting to hear anything until next year. They said it wouldn't be happening for about 2 years.

Just to let you know - Julia did post something on her birthday this month on Facebook. It should make you feel happy!

Julia Hague posted the following on Facebook on the 10th of March:

"Dear hearts, it is usual on a birthday to buy everyone cakes but I think this is better.

We haven’t forgotten our promise of an event for Spring 2020. Lots of ducks are well and truly lined up, just a couple to scoop up and get in line. Keep watching. News soon we promise!! "

Now that should make you HAPPY! It does for me!

She definitely is on FB but not sure she is on Twitter. If you follow her on FB also follow or join the Gabit Event Official Facebook Group. That is where she first posted it until it was moved over to the regular FB page for her.

Amanda tweeted Inspirations 2020 in April 2020, so the convention is on!

I'll have to wait to buy a ticket after the original ticket offering date. Attending a convention in July where I'm volunteering and guests include actors from Star Trek, Stargate, and Dark Matter.

Do you have any friends going? They can get the ticket for you, just make sure they have your full name and email address. You don't have to pay the moment you get the ticket. They have always sent an email to you a few days later to notify you and then you send the money. Usually gives you about 2 weeks to pay.

I don't know anyone. Won't ask since it's like asking for someone to co-sign. Still have to buy transportation to Maryland. Hold up is SS still not giving me my full retirement which is $2400/month. Then the travel across the pond. I'm not giving up.
