I have to think of season 9 & 10 as a start of a new series, otherwise I just get a bit peeved that there really isn’t very much explanation of the original SG1 members.
So, here comes Mitchell, Vala, and Landry— I think they are all good characters. Thank goodness they have toned down Vala’s character from Promethesius Unbound. I really like her character from here on out.
I think that they cover Mitchell’s backstory, and that all he wanted was to be part of SG1.
Poor Daniel, he never did get to Atlantis. Teal’c still not fitting in with the Jaffa, even after all he has done, is just sad.
Overall, a good beginning.
