One aspect I thought was perfect in 'A Serpent's Song' was the aged, near-death makeup used on Peter Williams; it looked very convincing and based on nothing in particular, made him look very 'Egyptian' to me. Don't know why but I thought it worked supremely well. I think it's easy to take things like this for granted because it's not generally done this well in television. They have almost pre-mummified Apophis and I wonder if that's the look they were trying to achieve.

I got you beat 1:02:43. -- I forgot to pause when I picked up my husband from work. . My guess is that I took between 10-15 minutes

I got 12/15 on the quiz.


I think I might have only seen the end of this episode before. I liked this episode, and I thought the aliens were sweet. They communicated through sound, I believe.

I also liked how both Daniel and Jack realized something was wrong as they were arguing.
