*Katerine, regarding the change. On the one hand it might help eliminate a lot of ties - I'm afraid you're going to have a lot of those at first because there are so many episodes. But in general I prefer the idea of everyone having to vote for different episodes rather than being able to "stack the deck". That will force everyone else to "stack the deck" to have their votes count. *

...Specifically, I was thinking of changing the rules so they would now say, for example:
We are casting a total of 8 votes per round.
You may vote for a single episode more than once per round, but no more than 3 times.
You must vote for at least 4 different episodes per round.

So I, for example, would then be able to cast the following votes:

Demons
The Other Guys
The Other Guys
The Other Guys

My question: do you think this would make things easier? Do you think it would make the results more accurate? Please let me know what you think - I won't even consider changing the rules without lots of feedback.

Again, right now, you must vote for 8 different episodes per round. The rules are currently unchanged.

No, I don't it'll make anything easier. While some folks will like being able to vote for Space Race several times in one round it won't paint a better picture of the fandom's opinion as a whole. If you're trying to whittle down the list to get to our favorite episode over the first 7 seasons (which is what I think you're doing) then people voting more than once for any one ep will just skew the numbers based on individual opinion, and not reflect the opinion of the voting fandom as a whole.

I think you're better off keeping the rules as they are. Thanks for asking for opinions though.
