In the SG-1 episode "2010" we learn that "Chevron Guy's" name is Walter Davis. Yet, Gary Jones's filmography page over at IMDb.com now lists all of his apperances as Sgt. Walter Harriman (minus the "Children of the Gods" credit, there it's Walter Norman). I also remember watching an interview with him on one of the DVDs where he said his name was Harriman Davis. What's the deal?

His name -- like a lot of stuff -- has changed over the course of the series. I don't think that TPTB could decide on just one. Just a small goof.Dark Helmet: So, Lone Starr, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
Dark Helmet: No, it's not what you think. It's much, much worse!
Col. Sandurz: Prepare for light speed.
Dark Helmet: No, no, light speed is too slow.
Col. Sandurz: Light speed too slow?
Dark Helmet: Yes, we'll have to go right to...Ludicrous speed!
Col. Sandurz:Ludicrous speed! Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I don't think the ship can take it.
Dark Helmet: What's the matter, Colonel Sandurz...CHICKEN?!

That was a funny part of 2010... when Jack is like, "Uh... *pauses to think* Walter?"Lord TorleYu-wong Chong Techno - create a "Window of Opportunity"

Intriguing, but I'd still rather see an ep about Wally. I wonder if he'll ever get a name that sticks.
I also keep mixing up Harriman with Klepperman. Would be kinda funny if the two parallelled a bit. Not that I want Wally to die, of course (don't want anyone else to die, either), but see him suddenly become most senior on base for whatever reason... Poor guy. Bet he'd be cool under pressure. At least at first.
