A year ago. I was due to go to a Sci-Fi convention. But I went to a relatives Birthday instead. Also one of my colleagues was on holiday and I had to cover his shift.

If you could star in a hollywood movie, what genre/style of movie would you like to star in?

      Science fiction or historical drama.

What's the oddest and at the same time coolest thing you've done?

I'd say indoor skydiving. It was a completely surprise for my birthday this past December and most people who see it think it's odd. However, the exhilaration and adrenaline rush was wonderful.

        Same question.

Picking grapes for ice wine in the middle of the night in freezing temperatures has to be near the top of the list. A winery in the area here makes some wonderful ice wine, but the grapes have to be picked when they have essentially frozen on the vine, and they must be picked very quickly, while temperatures are exactly right. In order to have enough people to do the work, they call in volunteers, who receive gift certificates, etc. in return for their time. I wanted to do it just because it sounded like it would be something neat to experience and then maybe to blog about. So from around midnight until about 4am I froze my butt off in a vineyard picking grapes. It was interesting, but I think the boots I wore still have vineyard mud stuck to them, and this was three years ago or more.

          Same question again.

I had to think about this question.
It was at the 'Wolf: Gateway to Sanctuary' event I attended in January.
I took part in acting out a scene from Stargate Atlantis' pilot 'Rising' with Paul McGillion aka Dr. Carson Beckett. I played Rodney McKay...
What was cool about it was that I won the sides for the scene I took part in.

Aside from the indoor skydiving, the only other thing that would be odd and cool would be hiking in the Devil's Garden in Arches National Park in Utah back in the summer of 2007. I almost died there as I got lost out in the desert after I ran out of water. I wouldn't trade the experience away for anything though as it showed me the very limits of what my body could take... and I discovered I could take much more than I ever gave myself credit for.

Of all the unusual technologies seen on Stargate, which piece of technology would you like to have possession of? I personally want an Asgard time dilation device.

Ooh that's a tricky one, there are lots that I'd want.. I'll go with Merlin's phase shifting device.

                Why do you like stargate?
