So me....................watching this random episode of sg1 and then I come upon Entity on season four (20th episode) well that weird virus thing from that planet they visited looked much like the stargate technology.........My question is who in the Universe is this race....l....can it be the Ancients or at least their computer selves???

The Ancients died from a plague sweeping through their galaxy. Many learned to ascend and the rest died. Nothing to do with a computer virus

He also said the rest died out. End of story.

He doesn't know that for SURE. He was reading it off a tablet.

The person who carved it doesn't necisarily need to know about colony #137 of the ancients, who happened to.....who knows?

When Daniel read that tablet, he could understand Ancient clearly. I think he must have known what he was talking about

If you watched the episode you would have noticed Daniel said at the start of the episode that the stuff on the planet doesn't even look remotely Ancient. End of discussion
