    *Highlight the S9 Sg1 spoiler
The Ori are ascended being from the planet Celestis in another galaxy, they have follower ,mortal beings called Priors.
And the Ori are sending missionary to milkyway to convert the non-believer
they spread their religious message of the path to enlightenment ("Origin"). All who reject the path must be destroyed, by the will of the Ori
And the Ori may be related to the Ancient

There are many religion on Earth and the rest of milkyway, many of them are Alien inspired religion like the Goa'uld and Asgard.
But in Pegasus, most human belive the Anicent are their God,and believe they will return one day.
But we know they ascended to a higher dimension and will almost never interfare with mortal.
Why can't the Ori come to Pegasus instead of Milkyway?
The Ori missionary the "Priors" are allow to use their power .

What if the Ori come to Pegasus and destory the Wraith?

If the Ancient doesn't care about the Pegasus human, why not let the Ori come and help ?

It is not like the Ancient could claim the Pegasus after they abandon the Pegasus humans to the Wraith, and the Ancient could have return and save them after they ascended.
(one of them did, in Sanctary,Chaya herself is Athar, an ascended Ancient who lived on Proculus, but the Ancient punbish her and only allow ther to protect one planet )

I think the people of Pegasus will accept the Ori ,if they come and help them.
The Ancient are useless to them , so not worship the Ori.

The Ori can't really do anything to interfere which means that they have to use their lackeys to do all their work and since everyone in the Pegasus are going to get fed upon, they don't make very good lackeys.

We don't really know anything about the Ori they may well be more powerful than the ancients...who's to say that if they did do something in either galaxy that the ancients could stop them.....after all the ancients were researching ascension which would lead us to believe that beings must have been more advanced than them at the time for there to be something to research....and perhaps there is another level beyond ascension that even they are incapable of understanding

I'd think that the wraith and the ori would have very good reason to go to war, not that i think it would ever happen. The ori want worshippers, and the wraith want food. unfortuantely, they want the same people. you wouldn't want people eating your worship-ees, now would you?
        ROFLMAO Check This Out!!!

Who's to say that the Ori wouldn't gain just as much benefit from being worshipped by the Wraith as they would from being worshipped by humans. They could probably be worshipped both, promising eternal life to humans who willingly give themselves to the Wraith.

Don't the Ori need their humans alive because they get their power from the giving of their souls to worship of the Ori? The Wraith don't want to worship anyone. They want food (humans). It just won't work.

but could be a good plot if SG1 ended, the orii are a better enemy than the wraith and if by then atlantis is fully charged, id love to see atlantis take on the wraith and the orii, while the wraith and orii are fighting each other.

We don't know enough about Wraith psycology to determine how they would feel about self-proclaimed Gods who want to offer them new and potentially unlimited food supplies. The Ori seem to need humans to activly worship them. They, however, kill anyone who rocks the boat and and perfectly happy to let their followers immolate themselves and each other. If the Wraith worshipped them then the extra converts may be worth the lost followers. Besides, it is qite possible that the Prior's healing power could have something similar to the good Ole' Fountain of Youth at their disposal. The Ancient healing device and its derivitive technology, the sarcophaus seem to produce toxic ammounts of human life force. The Wraith may be able to feed on energy produced by similar technology rather than on humans. Freedom from the need to hibernate would probably be worth several hours of daily prostilization

If the Ori send only an army of priors into pegasus, with their powers they could keep the wraith from feeding on them, then use their newly built ships to destroy the wraith. I think the people of pegasus would gladly worship the Ori after all they got rid of the Wraith.

If the Ori are as advanced as the Alterrans in the Pegasus galaxy...The Wraith will probably kick the snot out of them too!

The Ori have something the Wraith don't - TIME

Since the Ori are ascended they can continue to make more priors and keep sending them to fight the Wraith eventually the The Wraith would lose the war.
