My guess is they're in the same galaxy. No one's stated that they've been in FTL for months like they would probably need to be to cross the intergalactic void.

They had a little graphic showing the Destiny's journey through the years when they arrived on the ship, and from what I remember it was at least a dozen galaxies before they switched off the graphic. It's likely many dozens of galaxies. I can't tell you if they jumped a galaxy since the start though, but probably not since the Destiny has been stopping near a planet regularly since they got there. I wonder what they do when the Destiny goes into a void between galaxies...

those aliens probably dont want it to be destroyed, according what rush said about his experiences w/them, but after this episode ... it kind of looked like they were trying to ...

how many galaxies are in the known universe? whole lot of them....

maybe they're way further out then they think ?

And I think they were shooting at the ship to force the Destiny crew to make a wrong decision and enable them to board again.

I think they are most defiantly in the same galaxy since Air. A changing across galaxies would take awhile

there was a forum about this already hyperdrive is a relay relay fast form of FTL....but plan FTL (which is what destiny is using) is slower than hyperdrive

Was this stated on the show, or is it just conjecture by some of the fans?
