it was great how they set up a hate hate relationship with these 2 hating each other in series 1
this petered out in series 2 - haha

in many of the (DVD) extras the Colonel is seen to play the fool/ have a laugh, contrasting greatly to his "so serious" side on the show

Colonel Young is top bill on my marquee as well. That man exudes sex appeal. Handsome, muscular, love the hair, and those imminently kissable lips, that jawline (just for you Ashimon) and those powerful thighs for me.!!! Oh yeah, Oh Yeah! Young is my man!! !

Well, overall, I really love Varro. Mike Dupod in leather, an honorable man even if he is one of the enemy--who can say no?

I have to admit, though, much of this cast has grown on me. Most of the men are wonderful in their own way, even if they're not "classically" handsome. They are tough, smart, sarcastic, and have a depth of emotion that is amazing. At first, SGU held no interest for me, as I didn't like the style of shooting the scenes, but I decided to watch for Mike Dupod and found myself quickly drawn into the show via the characters. All very well written and very well acted.
