One thing I liked about Atlantis is that we would occasionally see an Earth-bound episode. This meant we'd get to see the SGC and some familiar SG-1 characters, usually from the supporting cast. Now, I know that Universe is a separate show that is intended to stand apart. That said, they have the communication stones to allow the audience to occasionally see Earth's side of the storyline. I'm not suggesting that there should be regular crossover episodes. I just think it would be really neat if they could craft a special event episode that somehow involved the SGC or Atlantis. Think of SG-1's "The Pegasus Project" and Atlantis's "The Return, Parts 1&2." Do you think we will get to see this at some point? If not, do share why.

Why use the base when you've got the lost city of the Ancients? Speaking of Atlantis, those sets were so beautiful, and there seemed to be a lot of potential for Atlantis to pop up in any number of stories. I can see the sets being dismantled and placed in storage. Why destroy them?

I think the Pentagon has replaced the SGC as most of the meetings and stone transfers seem to happen there, and because you can't gate to Destiny from Earth (that we know of) there is no need to use the SGC or AtlantisLIKES: Half-Life, Half-Life 2, ST: DS-9, ST: TNG, Eric Clapton, GTA 4, SGU, MW + MW2, Red Dead Redemption,
