No, Carter is a tv character, artificially created and anything not written in the scripts can be imagined by whoever wants to imagine something. Carter is not real, its a role. The eps build a personality, the fans can spin off!

I don't know about the commentary, but Amanda Tapping said they did not have sex. Unless, of course, one calls the energy sharing a form of sex.

I believe something was said that it was about two weeks. He had to have had time to figure out how to use the computer to order all those parts for his mini-gate and then have time for it all to be delivered, and I doubt a few days would have worked for that.

There is something I don't get: If Carter and Fraiser are in a relationship why do they address each other with the polite form in the German version? That's odd because the English 'YOU' can mean 'DU' or 'SIE' and when they say 'SIE' (they do in the German version) then they can't be in a relationship - well, not for German viewers.
Since German is my mother tongue (as you know from my profile) I don't need definitions or stuff like that, I'm an expert myself.

As far as the German version goes it's very much unlikely - those writing the German dialogues should have been on GateWorld then. You can see it in the German subtitles as well.
