HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

Well, i had a party at my grnadparents (halloween, easter and christmas are HUGE in my family) and then went off to a Halloween Party at cadets, with apple bobbing and kareoke and of cause dressing up! What i would love though is to have a halloween in America *sigh* America...


Oh what? What was I saying? Sorry, bit of day dreaming going on there. We had heaps of tricker treaters tonight....uhmmmm probably should get on topic.

People tend to trust Sam, knowing that she has the experience, etc. Sam doesn't need to be petty and say "I told you so." She knows that they listened to her and didn't just reject her out of hand. However, I think that sometimes they have a hard time taking Vala seriously (whether rightly or wrongly). If Vala's suggestions are routinely rejectd out of hand, thenn she can be justified in saying I told you so occasionally. (but only occasionally -- all the time can be a bit much).

Remember in 'Beachhead', Vala realised ahead of everyone else how to stop the supergate from forming. But everytime she tried to tell them, they'd cut her off with their own comments trying to figure out what to do. It wasn't until she had taken off that they had paid attention to her.

I totally agree about later, but I think that proves the point that, at the beginning, she should have been less pushy with her opinion. I was talking about technique. You don't earn respect by insisting without history that you are correct. You earn it by BEING correct. I think if she had been less obnoxious earlier (about Narise), people would have been more likely to listen to her later. And I think we've seen her being more and more believed as S10 progresses. Respect is earned... I think she's figuring that out.
