Yeah someone posted this article on the Jack spoiler thread. I thought it was a pointless interview. RDA is just as clueless as we are about what Jack has been up to since he left. I guess the actors get bored with the question about how you would like it to end for your character. The answers get stranger and stranger.

The little boy and girl named Sam and Jack that are in my daughter's Y group are twins. She asked the grandmother if she was familiar with SG and she was not but wanted to ask the children's mother and asked again the name of the show. None of the family knows SG, so the Sam and Jack names are just coincidental? I think not. Good omen.

Gen. “Jack” O’Neill ... should meld minds. “It’s a huge issue,” says Tapping. “I don’t want to be just pining away for the lead guy.” Anderson agrees: “I think there’s something sort of rewarding about them maintaining the friendship and comradeship.” -Entertainment Weekly

IMO, the reason why it looks like she is pining is because it isn't resolved.

yeah cuz if he said he could see Jack as a Mr. Mom type-complete with an apron and the baby on his shoulder while he stirred the spaghetti sauce and talked on the phone that would sound just too normal. and lord knows...
