Both hands and pants. Mostly pants. Darn...boss out of the office and no contact. That is just terrible. Well, off to lunch...

I wish you wouldn't say "pants" it takes my brain 0.000000002 seconds to translate it into "trousers". Pants mean something else where I live.

In other words for that 0.000000002 of a second my thoughts go really blue!

The first of my new convention stories!

well i sat around a table at the meet and greet party. and all the actors were walking around to different tables.

I don't know how long it was before Joe sat at the table I was sat on. But I noticed him get up from a table near me and was directed to a different one. Well I just sat and watched him. At that moment he turned his head in my direction and I caught his attention. Joe looked right at me. He smiled at me. (screams inside my head)

I in turn give a small shy smile but I kept looking at him until he turned and at down at the table. About a second later I noticed that the people on the same table as me were all silent and looking at me.

"Oooooooh man!" I sqeaked. "Did you see that....all these lasses around and he smiles at me!!!!"

You see they all noticed what happened as well. I could dig out a picture if you like so you can see what I looked like.

Right, Joe sat next to me when he got to my table. It was because I was sat at next to the empty seat that the guest sits in.

I have my walking stick with me at all times when I'm out but I try to hide it. so it was leaning at the side of the chair I was sat on. and the head part was resting on the table.

After the usual "Hi"'s. I said to him "Nice hair." (heheheheheeeeeeeee! I couldn't resist it!!!!) Joe said "Thanks", then I said "What's it like being the kirk of Atlantis?"

"I'm not the kirk of Atlantis," Joe replied.

"Well, you're close enough!" I smiled.

At that moment I turned my head to look around the table to someone who said something. I looked back a second later and Joe, who was still sat down was leaning on my walking stick and virtually playing with it while he was talking to people.

I was going to comment on it. But thought better of it. When I'm nervous, I am either quiet or full of adrenalin which makes me act abit like a smart alec.

So when Joe left, I looked to the others and said "I wonder if he was having fun playing with my walking stick?" Everyone laughed.

I can't wait until August I'm going to have loads of cool new convention stories and Corin's going to be there!!!

But I still have loads more stories. Like the fancy dress party and what Jason and Rainbow did when I walked in the room.

Jack's been giving him special training. That's why they are the only two coming on this road trip. We're taking the train and Jonas has never been to a con before. Seems like a fun story to write.
