I suspect that my favorable reaction to him being slim, as opposed to most people who don't like it so much might be to do with my age. You just don't get good-looking guys who are well-built and have interesting personalities- and also facial features, as like a bit of character in the face- in my area who are my age. I might have been conditioned to like the skinny, but physically interesting ones...
