heh...doing my own advertising. Lent out my copy of Stuck to my sister-in-law before I left to my friend Jack's place. She's only 'heard' of stargate and has no clue whatsoever who AT is but I told her it wouldnt matter. Just watch it for what it is. I'll let you all know what she thinks about it when she's done.

Amanda and JR give powerful performances. I'll never think of Sam and Martouf in the same way again.

I know! My mum turned to me during that scene and asked me if it would ruin Stargate for me. All I could say was "M-m-martoof!"

She really liked the film by the way. Thought the script was excellent and the acting was amazing, especially Amanda and JR.

on and about STuck...you know i've sent copies to italy, bulgaria, england, scotland, wales, france, spain australia, new zealand, canada, various states from alaska to hawaii

you guys can crosspost if you want, just please be aware that we have 17 copies left. Lindsay is thinking and talking about other things, but it's still in the talking and thinking stage

I'm fairly confident that when we sell out the 17 that making more isn't impossible, i just can't say with any certainty the timeline for another run.

This may have been posted already but, just in case, Stuck is very strong R-rated stuff ... make sure that there are no kiddies in the room when you view it.

That's why I had to turn it off 10 minutes into it when the kids came home from school last Tuesday...and it's hidden with all our other "special" dvd's...the ones rated over M that is to say.
I think JR Bourne really blew me away the most in this movie...for so many reasons!!!

And looking at these pics is such a vast contrast to Amanda in Stuck...I think that through hearing and reading about Amanda through the media and other fans, I'm not really that shocked to see her play such different characters...I'm even more in awe of her talent!!

Well in that case...I truly do feel lucky to have been given the opportunity to have purchased a copy...thank you to all involved...again!!!

As I sit and post, I have my dad's little chihuahua puppy sitting on my lap and licking my fingers...his name is Sam!! He's such a cutie!!...he's dad's little buddy. Dad's at home resting today as he's starting to struggle a bit with the treatment...but he's doing really well and is still quite positive...so I'm dog sitting Sammie til later this arvo...little monkey has sharp teeth...actually I should have said little bat...coz he looks like one!!!

See, I just indoctrinated my parents into the show, have a couple of close friends who watch it (one who introduced me to it) and others who are scifi geeks and therefore know of the show, so it's all OK. One of them is a Sam fan anyway, so that's good for everyday discussion, and she tolerates the 'Jonas thing' remarkably well I can't watch most other shows anyway, because of little things like the MA...

Glad you liked it. That character gets one rant every series, and that's my second favourite one- I can't even tell you the subject of my fav one on a PG forum
