I prefer the second one without question.

There's a much more dramatic air about it. The positioning and angling of the figure is edgier and the foreshortening with the right hand holding the gun adds a special "oomph."

Further, the highlights are especially good, turning the black BDU's into a true piece of art. Her eyes are much more expressive and dynamic and her hair is visibly more textured and stylized.

It simply pops off the page for me.

I totally agree with you, Ooobs.

As I said in the poll thread, when Mini was doing the prelim sketches, I wasn't keen on the second one. But now it's finished, it's so much more expressive and more detailed. It looks a lot more like Amanda and definitely looks like a LEADER I honestly prefer the second one.

sam seems to have taken the day off, maybe the week

lots of vala for the fans but, so far, it's little more than a fanfic brought to life

they have 27 minutes to 'pull it out of the fire'

sam, daniel and teal'c - with the exception of the daniel/vala dinner scene - might as well have stayed home. this is the cam and vala hour. and with 17 minutes to go i'm sure vala will be miraculously fixed during the last commercial break

Cam is the one on the motorcycle. I sooo wanted to see Sam on the bike. I know I was kidding myself but what can a Sam fan do.

cam 'rescues' vala, ie they both run off, vala handcuffs him NAKED to teh bed (sorry, there are covers) she empties his wallet, goes on a junk food marathon...the sgc finds cam and sam, daniel and teal'c kick in the door to find him cuffed to a bed, stuffing his face with cream filled junk food

the rest of the eps is bad, but that moment made me laugh out loud

now they have 9 minutes to presto chango fix vala
