Well I'm a HUGE Sam/______ friendshipper...and I'm as happy as a clam too! I've missed the Sam/______ friendshippy scenes.

I wish they'd bring back ______ for more than one episode...I really REALLY miss ______.

I still say that TPTB's decision to kill off ______ was one of the worst ever. I used to say it was THE STÜPIDEST OF ALL TIME, but then I saw TTTB and realize there apparently are many levels of idiocy to which I never fathomed they'd plummet...but seem to still be on the table.

15 Carter's, Janet, Martouf, and Thor in one episode!!!! It will be like old times!! I know I'm going out on a limb but I'm hoping Jack reappears ... oh heck I'll settle for him being mentioned. Either way it will be a great episode. The first that I'm actually excited about watching this season!!

Wow I just found this thread. AND IS IT HUGE! Hopefully TPTB can't ignore this many Sam fans. I have to say I've watched SG1 from the beginning and have enjoyed watching Sam's character grow. If there is a damsel is distress on this show I guess it would have to be Daniel. I love her kick-ass moments and would have to say one of my fav's is Hathor, when she and her small group of women (and Teal'c) have to save the base and the men

I haven't seen the pics your talking about, and since this is a huge thread could someone tell me which page of the thread they are on. Thanks very much. And just remember Sam rocks and it takes a talented actress like AT to pull off such a complex character.

I caught the second half of an old episode of SG-1 tonight, (forgive me, but I don't know all the names of them yet), but it was the one rather infamously known as "The Kynthia Episode" by shippers, I think. Anyhow, it was the one where the planet they gated to was inhabited by these fast-aging, naeive people (Argosians) and Jack started aging rapidly after he ate some cake and had an intimate encounter with Kynthia.

I just couldn't get over how well done the scenes were where Sam and Janet were trying to figure out how to counteract the aging sequence - when we actually got to SEE them trying the actual science(s) out. Actually got to watch them succeed and fail with their theories. Y'know, actually BE scientists.

*sigh* I miss that element of the show.

Yea it was a good scene, I like how they portray Sam as an intelligent scientist. Not some blonde Barbie doll, it's great to have a character young girls can look up to and not have to worry if they want to take after that character. Unlike some music stars the kids want to take after.
