I agree! That was great commentary for an OK ep, in my book! And anyone who does commentary on these things gets an automatic 1000 points for actually TALKING about the episode.

And I thought that part was funny, btw. She was so intent on getting the "no affair" point across, and he just kept pushing it.

Martin Wood's always been one of my favorites to have on audio commentary. He's great at point out little known facts and details.

Well -as some of you know I have been pretty down on the show in general and have been lurking but not posting because I really have very little positive to say these days (4HM2 has not changed that and I posted my thoughts and opinons and take aways on the 4HM2 thread and suffice it to say that I agree with most of the posts here in that is was very bad in most places - Lam/Landry was a disgrace IMO, however, Teal'c and Bra'tac and Gerak were great), especially with all the BS going on but these pics are fabulous and that last one - for once in a very long, long time I am looking forward to an episode, and I mean a looong time.

On that same positive note I was going to post this separately but the photos are a perfect lead-in to what I wanted to share and now maybe some of you saw this and it is mentioned already in the posts I have not gotten to yet but here goes:

In TV Guide for next week on the Friday highlights the box takes up almost 1/2 the page with a full lenght pic of AT from the S8 promo shots (the one with her in a tank top with her hands on hips and zat belt on and looking all the more a kick-ass competent soldier). Plus two smaller head shots -- one of Higginson as Weir and Katee Sackhfof of BSG The Title is Iron Maidens and it says: If you're seeking damsels in distress you are in the wrong space. sci-fi's kikc-butt line-up of interstellar action isn't merely a haven for the hunky swashbuckler -- it is home to a universe of alpha females. THE GRAND DAME OF THE BUNCH IS AMANDA TAPPING'S SMART, STRONG AND SEXY SAM CARTER of Stargate SG-1, who tonight is beset by

Like Carter, Torri Higginson's stoic Dr. Weir, etc., etc., and it goes on to discus Weir and Teyla in very nice ways in SGA and then about Sackhoff in BSG. All very nice comments but they had the best to say about the best - THE GRAND DAME and smart and sexy to boot!! (Take that Vala and CB and all the PTB who have their heads where the sun don't shine.)

I am a almost techno illiterate so I do not know how to post the photos or the actual article so sorry about that.

I am very heartend by the photos of ripple effect and by this very nice write-up and full length photo.

I was also heartened to see in the Watercooler at TV Guide.com today that they liked the 4HM2 very much and singled out Chris Judge and mentioned in very kind words Don Davis' appearance and they had very, very positive things to say about the Orlin/Carter moments and about Cameron Bright and AT. To be specific they gushed about Bright's performance and to close the blurb on Stargate SG1 they said that: "Along with the equally terrific Amanda Tapping, the kid (Bright) turned a great episode into a classic". Again take that PTB who don't know what to do with Carter (even in an episode wherein the character is very light her scenes are singled out (does kind of give some credence to Mallozzi naming this as a "good" Carter episode - he probably was referring to the powerful ending (which I really didn't see in it but what the heck I, thank goodness, do not do the TV Guide reviews).

I am optimistic for the ep 2 weeks from now (RE) and I still hold that shred of hope that things may work out in S10 as well if TPTB actually pay attention to what they have got in Ms. Tapping.
